Spreadsheets and PDFs
A spreadsheet is flexible and costs nothing. For trainers with a few in-person clients, it may be enough. The limit shows when the client trains alone: a PDF doesn't time the rest, doesn't log the load and doesn't tell you if they went quiet. Every adjustment becomes a new file, and the right version gets lost on the client's phone.
WhatsApp is where clients are, and that's a real advantage. But it mixes workouts, videos, payments and personal chat on the same screen. A form video from three weeks ago is hard to find, and there's no way to know how many workouts the client did in the month. OnMore uses WhatsApp for what it does well — reminders and conversation — and takes everything else out of it.
Workout-sheet apps, such as MFIT
MFIT is the best-known personal trainer app in Brazil, with a large user base and a broad exercise library. Apps of this kind organize the workout sheet, the client list and assessments, and they're a clear step up from a spreadsheet.
When comparing any app — MFIT, ours or another — test these points with a real client: can they train guided set by set, with automatic rest? Does it work at a gym with no signal? Does the app show your brand? Can you request and correct the video of a set inside the workout? What happens to the price when your roster grows?

When OnMore isn't the best choice
If you only coach in person, always next to the client, and don't want to follow anything outside the session, a spreadsheet does the job. If you need class scheduling with several instructors and gym rules, look for a gym management system — or talk to us about a custom system.
